JOB DESCRIPTION

The Care Administration is hiring a nursing assistant with special responsibility for social content for internal meeting points within the Care Administration.

The ability to see each unique person's needs and wishes and thereby guide our meeting point clients to meaningful activities is crucial. It is important to work rehabilitatively and health-promoting through, for example, outdoor activities.

As a meeting point coordinator, you will be responsible for one or more meeting points. Your tasks include planning activities and being responsible for premises and purchases. You will have delegated budget responsibility. Some of our meeting points also have a café and lunch service, which means that tasks within kitchen and café operations will occur.

It is important to have the ability to create good contacts within the administration but also throughout Kalmar Municipality, to attract more volunteers and to maintain good cooperation with the existing volunteers we already have. Your role also includes having good cooperation with volunteer organizations, associations, and the social representatives of the operations.

You will work on developing cooperation with associations and other partners. It may be relevant for you to work with, for example, leading self-help groups and other activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained nursing assistant. You have training in activity pedagogy, specialist nursing assistant training, or relevant experience and personal suitability for the role. Experience with outdoor activities and leading group training sessions in yoga, chair training, and mindfulness is an advantage.

You also have experience working independently and are used to solving problems on your own, but you also see the importance of good teamwork. Experience speaking in front of a group is required. You are service-oriented and comfortable communicating in both speech and writing, as well as navigating the digital world, and you possess a willingness to find new solutions and the ability to further develop what already exists. You need to be able to handle a fast pace, and the work involves heavy lifting.

Personal suitability is of great importance for this position. A B driver's license and access to a car are required.
