Husbygårdsskolan is a well-functioning F-9 school in northern Järva, close to Kista center.

The school also has a special education group. The school consists of two school buildings in Husby center within walking distance of each other and Husby subway station. Here, many different cultures come together to learn from and with each other.

We are a school that consciously works to strengthen students' results. Job Description

You will, together with a team of competent, driven colleagues, be responsible for teaching mathematics and also teach physical education and health for grades 4-6.

We work in a three-teacher model in grades 4-6 around each respective grade. For the upcoming school year, we will also parallelize all mathematics teaching in each grade to further strengthen collaborative planning among colleagues regarding students' education. The position includes, in addition to teaching, mentorship and managing the documentation and contacts that the assignment entails. An important part of the work is collaboration with colleagues and creating and maintaining good contact and cooperation with guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree with subject qualifications in mathematics, physical education, and health for grades 4-6. The position is a parental substitute for the school year 25/26.

You should have clear leadership in the classroom, a large pedagogical toolbox, and a well-developed formative working method. You create clarity in your teaching with a focus on structure, coherence, and good relationships. You have knowledge of and a good ability to adapt teaching based on the needs of groups and individuals and want to collaborate on your teaching with other colleagues.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being challenged and thinking outside the box, who sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. As a teacher with us, these abilities need to be prominent: professionalism, collaboration skills with a holistic view, and courage.
