About Us

Rosengren & Nilsson Group was founded in 2021 through the merger of two well-established foundries: Rosengrens Metallgjuteri, founded in 1909, and Vetlanda Gjuteri, founded in 2001. We combine extensive experience and expertise in metal casting with modern technology such as model creation through CNC machining and 3D printing.

Rosengrens Metallgjuteri has a long history and is currently run by the fourth generation of Rosengren in Vintrie, just outside Malmö. We work with everyone from artists and architects to municipalities, churches, and industrial companies. Our most common products include artworks, memorial plaques in bronze and aluminum, as well as 3D models and 3D-engraved crystal glass. We view each product as a unique work of art, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation.

About the Position

We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented person who can handle both CNC machines and 3D printers. The role involves working with both traditional and additive model manufacturing, requiring a combination of precision, problem-solving, and creativity.

Your Responsibilities

• Create wood-composite models by programming, setting up, and monitoring CNC machines to ensure high quality of processed parts.
• Create models by managing and optimizing 3D printing processes, including material selection and post-processing.
• Maintain and calibrate both CNC and 3D printers to ensure operational reliability.
• Collaborate with product developers and engineers to improve production processes.
• Perform quality checks and adjustments as needed.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working with CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, CAM programming).
• Knowledge of 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA, SLS, or similar).
• The ability to interpret and work from CAD drawings and technical specifications.
• An eye for detail and an understanding of material properties.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Relevant education is a plus but not a requirement – experience is the most important!
