At Serafen, you will be part of a dedicated staff group consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and administrative staff.

We work in interdisciplinary teams to ensure that our residents have the best possible conditions for good care.

You will be scheduled for day/evening/weekend shifts.

Serafen is centrally located just a stone's throw from T-Centralen, near Riddarfjärden and Stockholm City Hall, and is a care and nursing home with 176 places for people with cognitive disabilities, somatic and psychogeriatric focus. Staff is available around the clock, and the vision is for our residents to live a dignified life and feel well-being throughout their lives.

Your role

As a nurse, you will work closely with your team, contributing your specialized skills. You will have nursing responsibility for a number of residents. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and organize care and work towards good health and medical care based on individual needs. You will also have a role where you guide, educate, and engage your colleagues.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with experience in care and nursing. We would also like you to have additional knowledge in dementia care.

You are confident in your professional role and are happy to share your expertise, being creative in the sense that you see opportunities instead of obstacles. As a person, you have a good ability to collaborate, communicate, and promote a good working environment. Furthermore, you work evidence-based, methodically, development-oriented, and are used to a flexible working method based on the residents' needs.

We are looking for someone who contributes to a good atmosphere, takes responsibility, has a good approach, and enjoys working with the elderly. You will also participate in our improvement work to enhance quality.

To work with the elderly and persons with disabilities in their homes in the City of Stockholm, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract should not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.

The Department of Elderly Care is responsible for assistance handling and various services that enable the elderly to have their care needs met. Here you will find care and nursing homes, service houses, family support, day activities, and home care. The administration applies full-time as the norm, and you will be employed within Kungsholmen's elderly care.
