WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
As an administrator in the department, you will provide qualified administrative support to the division regarding the Riksbank's deposit requirements. This includes practical administrative work such as communication with credit institutions, sending out letters, registering and following up on incoming documents as needed, providing practical support in conducting internal and external meetings, and ensuring that procedures are followed and regulations are adhered to. You will also be responsible for documentation and filing of incoming documents and other materials, as well as developing procedures for how the Riksbank will organize administrative work in these matters going forward. The role requires you to maintain contact with various parties both internally and externally. The work is largely done in collaboration with colleagues in other units and departments. Other administrative tasks to support the department may also arise.
YOUR TEAM
The Riksbank consists of nine departments. The Markets Department consists of four units and a staff. The department is responsible for the Riksbank's activities in the financial markets, which includes the implementation of monetary policy and the management of the Riksbank's gold and foreign currency reserves. The department consists of about 50 employees. Here you can read more about the Riksbank's organization.
The staff currently consists of two employees focused on ensuring that department-wide tasks are planned and executed efficiently and effectively. This includes coordinating operational processes and budgets, continuity work, and providing administrative support to the department.
MORE ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone with a university degree in financial economics, economics, or a similar field. You have several years of experience in qualified administrative work within the Riksbank or another authority that the employer deems relevant. Experience with administrative legal processes is an advantage. You have documented experience in developing administrative routines and working methods. You have good knowledge of the Office suite and SharePoint (DHS). It is also advantageous if you have experience in creating and processing texts for guides and work routines.
As a person, you are service-oriented and professional in your approach, you have excellent collaboration skills, are meticulous, and are good at keeping things organized. At the same time, you have the ability to drive your work forward independently, with both structure and a sense of responsibility. Our internal language is Swedish, but we work a lot with international contacts, which requires you to master both Swedish and English in speech and writing. It is essential for you to deliver on time with good quality, and we see a strong interest in socio-economic issues as a given.

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement
Employment type: Special fixed-term employment, but no longer than December 31, 2025.
Location: Head office Stockholm
Working hours: Trust-based working hours
Possibility to work remotely: 1 or 2 days a week

The position may be classified in a security class, and a security review including background checks, security interviews, and special personal investigations will be conducted for the final candidate. For certain positions, Swedish citizenship is required.
