About the school

Internationella Engelska Skolan in Uppsala is a primary school with grades 4-9 and approximately 750 students.

Qualifications

We are now looking for a certified primary school teacher for grades 4-6 with a subject qualification in SV/SO for the school start in autumn 2025. Other combinations along with SV may be interesting. The position includes shared mentorship. You have a positive view of people and the ability to create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a teacher with us, you find it enjoyable, stimulating, and rewarding to teach students from various countries and give each student the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities.

• You have a teaching certification in the subjects mentioned above.
• You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• You plan, implement, and evaluate teaching and work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• You are a team player and see the value of collaboration within your working teams.
• You take responsibility for systematically documenting, analyzing, evaluating, and following up on students' knowledge development.
• You take initiative and have clear leadership in the classroom.
• You communicate clearly and have the ability to motivate and inspire students to embrace new knowledge.
• You have good knowledge of ICT as a pedagogical tool.
