We are now looking for someone with experience working with autism for an exciting and developing assignment! 

At Inre Kraft, we are seeking up to 4 personal assistants for a permanent position, for an 18-year-old boy living in central Luleå. For this assignment, we are looking for someone with special expertise/extensive experience in the autism spectrum & low-arousal approach. 

The working hours are not yet fully established as the assignment is under development, as the client will soon move to their own accommodation and the assistance will be expanded. 

Due to the complexity of the assignment, we are only looking for candidates with special expertise/previous extensive experience in autism and low-arousal approach!  The introduction is long, so we are starting the recruitment for these positions well in advance. 

A large part of your work will involve helping and guiding the client in everyday situations and in social interactions with others, as well as helping him understand his surroundings. You should be good at reading people and situations, and we see it as an advantage if you have previous experience working with preventive measures and long-term strategies. 

It is important that you, as an applicant, always have a good attitude, and that even in stressful situations, you have the ability to create a calm and safe environment where the client feels in control and respected. You need to be confident in yourself, attentive, and flexible. 

The assignment can be challenging at times, so it is important that you enjoy and understand the meaning of working towards long-term goals. 

You should be in good physical shape as the client is very active, and you should have a long-term view of your employment. 

Requirements: 

• Documented previous experience with autism and low-arousal approach 
• You speak and understand Swedish at a good level 
• You can provide a criminal record extract from the Police. 
• References (this will be provided if you proceed to an interview).

Things to consider before your application

You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you want to work with children and young people under 18 years, you must present an extract from the criminal record. It is important that you order an extract from the Police now, as their processing time may vary.
