The Swedish Armed Forces Technical and Maintenance Office Logistics (TVK Log) is seeking a Maintenance Leader for the Supply Section. Do you want to work with logistics and supply of food in one of Sweden's most important organizations? We are expanding our team and are therefore looking for reinforcement; if you want to be an important part of defense logistics, this is the position for you!

About the Unit

TVK Log operates at a central level and is an important part of the logistics management in the Armed Forces. We are responsible for ensuring that logistics materials are available and meet the needs of the units. A success factor for us in our assignments is collaboration and expert competence.

The unit is divided into five departments and currently consists of about 100 employees, mainly civilian personnel with an even distribution between women and men. The management is located in Boden, but we have operations in several locations across Sweden.

Main Responsibilities

As a maintenance leader for food, you play a central role in ensuring that the Armed Forces can maintain food supply at all levels of conflict. You are responsible for the management and availability of food for the Armed Forces' operational capability.

In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and report within the assigned area of responsibility. You will ensure that needs are identified and met according to operational requirements and also participate in procurement and ordering of food in collaboration with other units.

You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and actively work to identify and drive improvements in the food supply chain to ensure efficient food supply.

Requirements

Qualifications

• University or college degree in logistics or equivalent competence acquired in another way that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Documented work experience in production management
• Driver's license (B).

Personal Attributes

As a person, you have excellent collaboration skills while being able to work independently. You are development-oriented, driven, and take your own initiatives. The position requires good analytical skills and a well-developed ability to see connections. You are communicative and pedagogical and are skilled at expressing yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. You will have a great personal responsibility for solving assigned tasks, which requires you to prioritize and work in a structured manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

• Documented experience of working in food logistics, for example in restaurants/catering or food storage
• Documented experience of working in public administration
• Documented experience of contract work and purchasing
• Documented experience of collaboration with supervisory authorities, such as Local Environment and Health, the Food Agency, and the Armed Forces Inspector for Health and Environment.

Other

The employment constitutes a civilian permanent position full-time. A six-month probationary period may apply for those who are not already permanently employed within the Armed Forces.

Work location: Boden

Travel in the service occurs.
