Who are we?

Parkskolan is a K-3 school in Skärblacka, within commuting distance to Norrköping, Linköping, and Finspång. We have about 200 students and 33 staff members. The school's nature-oriented location provides excellent opportunities for varied learning environments; there are forests, watercourses, a swimming hall, and an ice rink within walking distance.

The grades are two parallel classes, and we work closely together in teams linked to each grade. This close collaboration creates a pedagogical drive in the operations where students' learning and well-being are the focus, as well as valuable support for the individual educator.

We have a joint development project around collective learning and leadership within the unit. All teachers at the school's leisure center have regular meetings regarding the development work, and every week there is scheduled planning time for the entire team. In your grade, all educators collaborate around all students and work flexibly to allocate the resources available in the best way.

We are now looking for a leisure teacher who wants to be part of our team

Your responsibilities

As a leisure teacher, you will plan and implement activities at the leisure center. You primarily work in one grade but collaborate with all educators at the leisure center for joint activities. You contribute to the development work of the leisure center, where we work with language-enhancing activities, cooperative learning, relational leadership, and differentiation.

Depending on your qualifications, there may be an opportunity to teach a school subject, and we would like you to have expertise in music. You will be present in the school environment as support in teaching.

You contribute to developing teaching at the school, share good experiences, and serve as a role model for students and colleagues. You drive and raise issues related to students' learning and development.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed leisure teacher, and we would like you to have experience in pedagogical work. We view positively if you have qualifications to teach music and/or physical education. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and have the interest and drive to develop students' learning.

As a person, you are a secure and stable leader with a positive approach, encouraging and supporting students to reach their goals. You have a good ability to create strong relationships with students, guardians, and other professionals within and outside the school.

You are proactive and thrive in collaboration with others, listening to others' opinions while sharing your knowledge and information with the team.

Since we work with children and youth, there are natural fluctuations in pace during the workday. Therefore, we see that you have the ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor even in stressful situations.

The position requires you to communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
