Julins Backyard Barbecue, Restaurant and Smokehouse opened in the autumn of 2020. We are driven by the desire to offer barbecue of the highest quality! The inspiration comes from the American South, specifically Austin – Texas. In 2022, we acquired a food truck that rolls out to events, festivals, markets, and catering.
Our guests are our friends, and when they come to us, they should have a complete experience of food, drink, music, and service with a personal touch. Texas barbecue – right here in Värmland!
Our common goal is to create the best possible experience for our guests. Everything we produce in the kitchen is made with pride, love, and care. Become part of our dedicated team that works hard to develop and constantly improve what we do.
We now need to expand our team with chefs for the summer season of 2025, with 3 positions of at least 70%, with the possibility of more hours.

We work in an open kitchen, and you appreciate having contact with our guests and answering questions about our cooking methods. You are attentive to details and good at meeting and accommodating guests' individual needs.

We are a business where we want to utilize the team's assets, which means that the kitchen and service work closely together and help each other in daily tasks. To fit into the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
Job Responsibilities
Typical kitchen tasks, plating dishes, mise en place, handling and preparing cuts of meat, preparing sauces, rubs, and sides, cleaning and dishwashing.
You may also be involved in preparing and rolling out with our food truck for various assignments. In the long run, you will have the opportunity to learn to work with our two different smokers - an offset smoker from Millscale and an Oiler pit J&R from Texas.
We will start the recruitment process immediately and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis during the application period.
