The Role of Occupational Therapist

Your area of responsibility is related to all the daily activities that people do, but also to the activities that are difficult to perform for various reasons. As an occupational therapist at the health centre, you will work with standard tasks such as hand rehabilitation, daily revisions, cognitive assessments, and activity assessments. Treatments are conducted in the form of individual patient meetings. Your main task will also be to conduct health conversations. Therefore, it is important for us that you are accustomed to holding health conversations.

The tasks require you to take your own initiative and be able to plan and carry out the work independently. At the same time, you need to collaborate well with your colleagues and have a good attitude towards everyone you meet in your role. You also need to be flexible to easily adapt to changing circumstances. The position is a temporary role for at least 1 year, with a start date to be agreed upon and the possibility of extension.

The Bra Liv Health Centres are the regionally operated primary care in Jönköping County and consist of 33 health centres. The health centre consists of a centrally located facility in Eksjö city center, a branch in Kvarnarp, and a branch in Mariannelund.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist or have what the employer considers equivalent education relevant to the position and who wants a varied job! If you have experience in primary care and experience in health conversations, that is something we value as meritorious for the position. We also consider it meritorious if you have REDO training. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
