The Hospital in Ystad is an acute care hospital with a wide range of specialized care. We offer health and medical care characterized by quality and accessibility, a holistic view, and consideration. The recovery department currently has ten monitoring places for day surgery from Monday to Friday, caring for both children and adults. The postoperative department currently has three to five postoperative places staffed around the clock. Our operations focus on general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, and ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for you who want to work as a nurse with us in the postoperative and recovery department in Ystad. With us, you will have a developing and stimulating job characterized by personal responsibility, participation, and teamwork.

In the role of a nurse in the recovery unit and postoperative places, you will perform standard tasks within postoperative care, which means nursing and monitoring recently operated patients. We care for patients after surgery focusing on general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, and ENT. The work is done in teams with a focus on person-centered care in a unit with high competence in a high-tech environment.

In our department, you will receive an introduction tailored to your experiences and skills so that you can integrate into the organization in the best way. Your working hours are mainly Monday to Friday. Weekend work occurs, but this will happen only after the introduction and depending on the needs of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. We are keen to develop and strengthen the competence of our employees. For those interested, there is an opportunity for paid education for specialist training in intensive care, anesthesia, or surgery. If you have specialist training in intensive care/anesthesia or previous experience in acute care, intensive care, and/or postoperative care, we consider it an advantage.
