The operational activities of the Swedish Customs are divided into four departments: control, revenue collection, customs crime, and intelligence.
The Intelligence Department collects, processes, analyzes, and manages intelligence information, performs risk analyses, and works with intelligence operations across all parts of the Customs' mission, regarding both illegal and dangerous goods as well as revenue collection. The work aims to prevent, detect, and thwart criminal activities.
