Responsibilities

As a teacher, you work to help students develop their full potential – both academically and socially. You support, motivate, and stimulate each student to meet the knowledge requirements based on their individual circumstances. Your work includes planning, teaching, assessment, as well as evaluation and development of the educational activities, in accordance with the school's governing documents.

We are a learning organization that promotes knowledge exchange, where you find yourself in an environment characterized by collegial learning and development. Together with colleagues, you work to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff. You also contribute to the quality and development work at the school.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Teaching certification
• Qualification to teach Swedish and History at the upper secondary level
• Experience in teaching or educational work
• Familiarity with using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
• Very good Swedish in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

• Experience in teaching Swedish and History
• Qualification to teach other subjects

We are looking for someone who is confident in the teaching role and who creates good conditions for students' learning and development. You adapt your teaching to the student's and group's circumstances and prior knowledge through a creative approach and excellent pedagogical ability. Your working method is characterized by good structure, and you prioritize and organize tasks effectively. Additionally, you contribute to good collaborations and communicate openly, clearly, and attentively with your surroundings.

About the Workplace

Malmö Idrottsgymnasium is located in unique premises at Eleda Stadion in the Stadion area and has an inspiring study and elite sports environment characterized by joy, development, and results. We currently have 630 students in the programs SA, NA, FS, EK, and adapted upper secondary school. Here, students meet engaged teachers and instructors who give them the opportunity to combine education and elite sports. We have well-educated teachers focused on daily teaching, where each individual student is seen and can develop based on their circumstances.
