Furuborg School is the municipality's youngest school and includes grades F-6 as well as adapted primary school. The organization has 380 wonderful students and a dedicated and competent staff.

You will work as support for a student who needs to be in an adapted learning environment in our adapted primary school and after-school care. This may involve teaching the student individually, in small groups, and in whole classes. You will have close collaboration with teachers, childcare workers, and special educators. The work involves participating in planning to implement teaching that enables instruction in an accessible learning environment. The tasks also include personal care to meet the student(s) needs for care, such as during meal times and hygiene. You will work with a vacation service, meaning you work in after-school care during school weeks and school breaks.

The position is 75% permanent and will commence upon agreement.

Nykvarn Municipality is a Finnish administrative area, and we consider it an advantage if you speak Finnish.

We are looking for a 75% teaching assistant with experience in adapted primary school. You are driven, engaged, and enjoy collaborating with students in need of extensive special support. We also wish that you have experience working with students with intellectual and neuropsychiatric disabilities. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of sign communication and/or other alternative communication methods.

To succeed with us, you need to be flexible, have good collaboration skills, be attentive, and have the ability to understand other people's perspectives. A secure and stable personality is necessary, as well as having good physical fitness to handle rapid changes and support students with significant care needs regarding meal situations and hygiene. It is also important that you can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization.
