We are currently looking for a licensed occupational therapist for a longer-term temporary position. In the home care rehabilitation unit, three occupational therapists and two physiotherapists work together. Cohesion and collaboration are well developed, and our work towards improvements is ongoing. We also have a well-established collaboration with other professions. In our multiprofessional team, we have a holistic view aimed at giving our patients as much independence and quality of life as possible.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist in Aneby municipality, you will have a stimulating and varied job where you have the opportunity to truly make a difference in people's lives. We always start from the individual's unique circumstances and needs and adapt our interventions accordingly. You consider the whole person, regardless of age, and help patients perform their important daily activities to live an active and independent life.

Your responsibilities as an occupational therapist include:

• ADL assessments.
• Prescription of assistive devices according to the prescription process.
• Guiding and educating staff in, for example, transfer techniques.
• Collaboration with other professions.

The rehabilitation unit is based in Antuna, our special housing facility. The tasks in this role involve patients within elderly care, both in regular and special housing. The employment is a fixed-term position at 100% for one year with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist with at least a B driver's license and knowledge of driving both manual and automatic transmission. Experience in the profession is always an advantage, but we also welcome recent graduates!
