In this position, you will help build the future! We are now looking for a new facility technician for our combined heat and power production in Rya.

We are currently building a new bio-steam boiler that will be connected to the existing combined heat and power plant with the intention of creating efficient electricity and heat production. We are looking for a technology-interested and solution-oriented colleague who wants to build the future with us.

Your task

As a facility technician, you will primarily work at the Rya combined heat and power plant, where you will be involved in the work leading up to and during the commissioning of the new steam boiler. After that, your focus will be to ensure that the entire facility for electricity and heat production in Ryahamnen is kept in the best condition for the highest possible availability according to our operation and maintenance plans. If necessary, you should also be prepared to work at our other facilities.

The job as a facility technician includes, among other things, working with:

• coordination and execution of shutdowns (process, electrical, instrumentation) and is often the connection responsible during the execution of process shutdowns.
• ensuring that chemical handling and hazardous waste management at facilities are conducted according to routine.
• coordination during revisions/renovations/corrective maintenance.
• being a fire protection controller at facilities according to the routine Systematic Fire Protection Work.
• performing and reporting weekly and monthly routines.
• government inspections, operational tests, etc.
• developing and updating routines and instructions.
• troubleshooting and testing of facilities.

Most of your working time will be spent out at the facility or facilities you are responsible for. This is important for you to maintain a high level of facility knowledge. A large part of the work involves working with work permits and the processes surrounding them.

You will solve various technical problems in close collaboration with the facility manager, facility owner, operations and maintenance personnel, as well as representatives from other functions within Göteborg Energi. During revisions, you will also collaborate with external contractors.

The position is located in Facility Operations. Our focus is on optimal operation of our facilities for electricity and heat production. We play a key role in Göteborg Energi's important mission - to provide Gothenburg residents with the energy they need, around the clock and throughout the year. Your competence

We are looking for someone with a degree in operational technology with a focus on combined heat and power or equivalent competence. Knowledge of biofuels is highly meritorious. In order to quickly move between our various facilities, you need to have a B driver's license. Since most of our communication is in Swedish, you need to have a good ability to express yourself and understand Swedish in both speech and writing.

We hope you have worked in energy production, process industry, or similar operations. We would like you to have experience working on smaller projects and with technical investigations. You thrive when you can analyze, take initiative, and for you, it is a given to work safely. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working on many different issues within production, both independently and together with other functions.
