ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are looking for two personal assistants for our client in Trollhättan. We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute as needed and who is interested in a summer position of about 80% during weeks 24-32. The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• From 08:00 to 08:00 the next day, with waiting time overnight.
• From 08:00 - 18:00 on certain Sundays.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 70s who uses an electric wheelchair. As her personal assistant, you will be a great support in her daily life, with tasks such as personal hygiene, cooking, and household chores. She moves herself, but you as an assistant provide support during transfers when needed. This means that there are no heavy lifts involved in the job.

In her daily life, she also uses aids such as a breathing mask and shower chair, so it is important that you are willing to learn how to handle these safely and securely.

You will also participate in all activities she wants to join, which can involve everything from grocery shopping to taking a trip by car for an outing. She loves to swim, which she does once a week, so it is important that you as an assistant are a good swimmer and have no problem being in chlorinated water. ARE YOU THE ONE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is responsible and reliable. It is important that you have a calm and reassuring demeanor, as your presence creates a safe and pleasant environment for the client. Your ability to be attentive and empathetic is crucial to understanding and meeting her needs in the best way possible. If you also have a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to helping others, you will fit perfectly in the role of her personal assistant.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's license as the client has her own car that the assistant drives.
• Must tolerate chlorine and be a good swimmer.
• Must be able to ride a bike.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in similar work.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date: As agreed, we would like you to start the introduction immediately.
