RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool teacher with us, you will be an important part of an engaged team that together creates a safe and inspiring environment for the children. With your pedagogical leadership, you will plan, implement, document, and analyze the activities based on the preschool's curriculum. We place great importance on building good relationships with both the children, your colleagues, and the guardians, and you are a safe and responsible role model who contributes to a positive atmosphere. Through your work, you ensure that every child feels seen and has the opportunity to develop in a stimulating and safe environment where their needs are always at the center.

If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will receive a mentor upon your employment. The mentor is part of a central group and is tasked with helping you get a good start in your professional life with us.

The preschool teachers at Omvägens preschool collaborate across departmental boundaries regarding planning, Unikum, and projects.

Omvägen is facing a renovation that will begin in August 2025. Eken will remain in its building during the autumn, and at the turn of the year, move to the evacuation location Skårs alle, where they will meet department Fjärilen until summer.

We have already planned how we can maintain community and meetings with each other during the weeks, so we do not lose touch during the construction year. We will strengthen with substitutes during the year to ensure staffing in case of absence, and reinforcement when everyone is in place.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher degree and certification according to the Education Act. You have a strong ability to plan, implement, document, and analyze educational activities according to the preschool's curriculum. You also have a good understanding of and ability to work based on the preschool's governing documents, values, and the common goals of the preschool administration. Additionally, you have a natural ability to lead both children and adults.

To succeed in this role, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have an excellent ability to create good collaborations and relationships with children, colleagues, guardians, and others you meet. You are responsible, have good self-leadership, and can create a safe and developing learning environment. We also see that you have the ability to be a good role model for both children and adults.

Furthermore, you have good digital competence and can use digital tools such as computers, iPads, and documentation systems for educational work.
