JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute teacher with us, you play an important role. You support our regular teachers during their absence, teach various subjects, and contribute to a safe and inspiring learning environment. You may teach both theoretical subjects such as mathematics and languages, and practical subjects such as sports or home economics.

Your work will contribute to our students' success and well-being. It is important that you find it motivating to teach and that you can engage students in a pedagogical way. As a substitute teacher in secondary school, you are tasked with being a good role model, leading lessons in the classroom, and supporting students during the school day. You enter the times and days you can work in our booking system and then receive bookings via SMS.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with pedagogical skills and a strong interest in working with young people. A good attitude is a given for you, and you are attentive to others' needs and wishes and meet them with respect. You find it easy to build relationships and take great responsibility in your role as a substitute.

To work as a substitute teacher, you must be at least 18 years old and have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You should reside in Alingsås municipality or nearby, as work shifts can be booked with as little as 45 minutes' notice.

It is an advantage if you have education and/or experience in the field, or have leadership experience through, for example, community activities or similar. Special knowledge in one or more school subjects can also be valuable.

Since we work with people, it is important that our communication works well in all operations. Therefore, we place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who is flexible and adaptable to different situations.
