JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will work as a teacher at the Adult Education Töreboda and teach social studies at basic and upper secondary levels, as well as Swedish and Swedish as a second language at the basic level. The work involves planning and implementing teaching based on national governing documents and goals. The target group for adult education is heterogeneous, and therefore the needs and conditions of the students vary, which you as a teacher are expected to consider in your teaching. We see collegial learning as an obvious part of our everyday life and work together in a positive climate with colleagues and students.

QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with experience, knowledge of, and interest in teaching in municipal adult education. You are a certified teacher in social studies and Swedish as a second language and/or Swedish. You have experience in adult education and/or upper secondary school or other pedagogical work. You are a clear leader and secure in your role. It is important to us that you are attentive, creative, and meet each student based on their conditions. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The current employment form is a full-time position as our teaching is conducted year-round.

Adult Education Töreboda is a smaller unit with about 10 employees. Teaching is provided in the form of SFI, Komvux as adapted education, as well as general subjects at basic and upper secondary levels. The premises of adult education are just a stone's throw from the transport center for buses and trains, which means good commuting opportunities.

THE POSITION

The position is 100%.

Start date is 2025-08-15 or by agreement. The employment form is permanent.
