We are now looking for a nursing assistant for a temporary position at our endoscopy clinic in Ystad. We are a cheerful team that enjoys working and having fun together!

The surgical, orthopedic, ENT intensive and perioperative care area in Ystad consists of outpatient operations, surgical and urology departments, as well as the surgical department for planned surgeries in Ystad. At the endoscopy clinic, we work in teams with the patient in focus. We receive patients from primary care, inpatients, and also from other hospitals in Region Skåne.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome you as a nursing assistant to our Endoscopy Clinic!

In the role of nursing assistant with us, you will assist during examinations together with the endoscopist. Here we have both doctors and nurses performing endoscopies. You will receive the patient and accompany them throughout their visit with us. Your role is important for ensuring that patients feel safe during their entire visit. You exude calmness and have an easy time recognizing what each individual needs during their visit.

The clinic is open during the day from Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a focus on emergency care/nursing according to the previous program structure or the new program structure who has studied all specializations. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is required. Previous work in outpatient care and knowledge of Melior and PASiS is an advantage for the position.

We value a good attitude, high service willingness, and good social skills. You take your own initiative for improvements that develop the work in the unit and have a desire to develop both your professional role and your knowledge within your field. Furthermore, you have a holistic view of the work and the patient with a good ability to prioritize, collaborate, and are flexible. Personal suitability is of great importance.

As of July 1, 2023, the title nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within healthcare and social services. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and are offered a new position, you can retain your title as a nursing assistant until June 30, 2033. If you do not currently have a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, it means that the title in your employment contract will be care assistant and not nursing assistant.
