Department of Home Care and Special Housing

Do you have expertise and interest in digitalization issues? Are you curious about welfare technology and want to be involved in the future of care and support? Do you want to provide support to colleagues and employees working with digitalization issues? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Elderly care is constantly evolving, particularly regarding digitalization. We are now looking for a technology-interested person, preferably with experience from municipal care and support, to support the operations and coordinate our expert users.

You will work in collaboration and on behalf of the department's management team with responsibility for IT and digitalization issues. The administration has operational systems that are being developed, and additional systems will be replaced in the near future. Your role as an object specialist is an important part of this. There is also a significant need to continue the digitalization our operations are undergoing, and we are looking for someone who wants to work with and for this.

Your Assignment

As an administrator focusing on operational digitalization issues, you will be responsible for training users in operational systems before deployment and during new hires. In your daily work, you will serve as support for colleagues and employees using Lifecare and other systems within Health, Care, and Support. You will collaborate with the digitalization organization and share information with your colleagues. You will be responsible for convening the department's expert users for regular meetings. You are active within the municipality's collaboration model and work on implementing various digital solutions and welfare technology in the operations.

You will gather wishes and needs from colleagues and employees. The role also includes assisting other operations outside your primary unit when necessary. Collaboration with others in your department is part of the job. You will also be responsible for testing new features in relevant operational systems.

As an administrator focusing on digitalization issues, you are expected to:

  • Drive development issues forward and present proposals for actions.
  • Support managers and other stakeholders in driving transition and change, ensuring that change efforts are coordinated with adjacent developments, areas, and projects.
  • Have an overarching coordinating responsibility within your department/area regarding digitalization initiatives and work closely with the department's management team.
  • Gather needs and wishes, distinguishing functionality in systems versus working methods.
  • Book, convene networks, and hold network meetings with expert users within the area of responsibility.
  • Actively work in the team for digitalization organization in the Teams program.
  • Participate in the cross-administrative network for object specialists.
  • Assist in developing and anchoring routines and manuals.

Your Background

We are looking for a pedagogical person with knowledge and interest in IT and technology. You are a quick learner, have good linguistic skills, and possess a strong ability to collaborate. You are good at listening and adapting your communication style. You have the ability to see the big picture and view issues from a broader perspective. Furthermore, you take initiative and start activities to achieve results.

To succeed in the role, you need to have an interest in digitalization and operational development. We expect you to have at least a high school diploma complemented by relevant work experience.

It is an advantage if you have worked in municipal care and support and have knowledge of systems such as LifeCare and PM3. Experience in digitalization work, work as an object specialist, and familiarity with the various operational systems of the care and support administration are considered meritorious.

It is also positive if you have experience in administrative work and in driving development projects.
