Your Role

As an assembler with us, you will be part of our hydraulic workshop, where we assemble, test, and maintain hydraulic control systems for Gripen. You will be part of a team of about 13 people, of which approximately 8 work as assemblers. The team is diverse in age and characterized by a good atmosphere and close collaboration. Here in the department, we work with precision mechanics - small details that require high precision and accuracy, making your role especially important.

You will have a varied job with many different products and details, and in your role, you will assemble products according to instructions and drawings, where tasks such as drilling, gluing, adjusting, and soldering occur. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments, such as planning, quality, and purchasing, to ensure that we meet all requirements for flight safety-critical systems.

The work mostly takes place at a bench but may occasionally involve heavy tasks.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, is meticulous, responsible, and has a natural dexterity that allows you to handle precision mechanical components. We value curiosity and believe you are someone who dares to ask questions when something is unclear but also takes initiative and sees opportunities for improvement. Since you will collaborate with many different parts of the organization, it is important that you thrive in an environment where communication and teamwork are part of everyday life.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Relevant education in a technical field or equivalent work experience in production of precision mechanical components
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, as documentation is available in both languages
• Basic computer skills

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of soft or hard soldering
• Knowledge of hydraulics
• Experience from the aviation industry
• Experience with MRP systems

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
