In Ängelholm/Välinge, Allergon has 45 employees. We are market leaders in the manufacturing of allergenic raw materials for businesses involved in production and sales for allergy diagnostics and immunotherapy.

How will you make an impact?

We are looking for a laboratory engineer to join the Quality Control group. This position is a permanent employment.

The Quality Control group consists of 6 people, belongs to the Quality Management department, and you will report to the Head of Quality Management.

The group is responsible for performing quality control of allergenic raw materials, both from external suppliers and from the company's own production.

We are looking for someone interested in practical laboratory work. You will plan and perform laboratory analyses as well as evaluate and document results in our ERP system (SAP).

The laboratory analyses conducted are primarily using analytical techniques such as titration (KF), raw material control according to Ph.Eur, immunological analyses (ELISA), protein analysis, microscopy, and microbiological analyses.

We offer a role where you will be responsible for analytical equipment, change management, and deviation handling within your area of responsibility.

The work is conducted according to LEAN principles with visual planning, standardized working methods, and continuous improvements. In your role, you are therefore expected to initiate and drive improvement work within your areas of responsibility.

Who are we looking for?

You have a university degree in a natural science field, Biomedical Analyst, Horticulturist, or equivalent. It is a requirement that you have experience in laboratory work, and it is an advantage if you have worked with microbiology, botany, computer validation, and LEAN in a quality-regulated environment (GMP/ISO 9001). It is important that you are quality-conscious and meticulous. You work efficiently, structured, and have the ability to plan your own work, manage changes, and maintain pace. At the same time, you should also have an easy time communicating and working in a team. To satisfactorily perform the tasks, you must be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Driving license B and access to a car as there are no good public transport connections
