About the Position
As a Production Engineer – Packaging, you will be overall responsible for the packaging processes in the manufacturing of sterile and non-sterile products at our production facility in Karlskoga.
You will participate in development projects for new and existing packaging led by packaging development, where your responsibility is to ensure that we have suitable manufacturing processes. This includes everything from selecting and implementing equipment to continuously improving processes in ongoing operations. The position is a central role in our organization.
In your daily work, this means:
- Being involved in development projects for new or existing packaging led by packaging development.
- Being responsible for the site's packaging processes, including specifying the right equipment, purchasing, and validating it.
- Ensuring that our processes are adapted to handle sterile products.
- Training staff on how to apply the processes.
- Testing and implementing production-improving measures such as new tools, equipment, and working methods.
- Being responsible for or participating in improvement activities to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and increase quality.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who wants to take the next step into an organization with room to grow. You should feel confident taking responsibility as the role is central and lays the foundation for our daily production. You have a couple of years of experience in packaging or process industry, preferably from sectors such as Life Science, food industry, or other areas where high demands are placed on traceability, quality, and control.
You have a relevant engineering degree from a university or college and previous experience working in a GMP industry. Experience in process technology, working in clean rooms, and knowledge of electrochemistry are advantageous.
You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have an easy time identifying critical moments in processes. Your analytical skills are strong, and you are used to working towards clear deadlines. As a person, you are flexible, unpretentious, and have good communication skills. You enjoy working in a team but also take responsibility for independent tasks. You have no problem speaking in front of groups and are accustomed to collaborating with people from various areas of expertise.
Since the role involves several contact points, both nationally and internationally, very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing, is required. Experience with SAP is an advantage.
