We are now looking for a Production Engineer with an interest in developing and improving production processes - a role for you who want to drive technical development projects in a production environment!

Engineered Coated Fabrics (ECF) is part of the Trelleborg Industrial Solutions business area and develops, produces, and sells polymer-coated materials to customers worldwide. Our technical expertise enables an efficient development and production process of both standard products and customized and customer-specific products. Our operations are global with manufacturing units in the USA, UK, and Sweden. As a Production Developer, you will be part of the site in Trelleborg with about 120 employees and report to our Production Manager Magnus.

As a Production Engineer focusing on production development...

you will play a key role in developing and optimizing our production processes and taking our products from development to production. You will work closely with the production team and other departments to ensure that we meet our quality, efficiency, and sustainability goals.

Your main tasks will include:

• Collaboration with product owners and production to ensure a smooth transition from development to production.

• Participating in the development of new production equipment and investments in equipment.

• Collaborating with customers in development and quality work.

• Optimization of the production process for new products.

• Actively working with deviation management and quality complaints.

• Driving your own projects and project groups to develop and implement new production lines for new products.

You are a technology-interested project leader...

and have experience in driving development projects for production, machine development, or other relevant experience for the position. To succeed in the role, you need to enjoy finding technical solutions to production engineering problems, preferably together with others.

For the role, the following is required:

• Technical education with a focus on production, process technology, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Several years of experience in production technology work in a manufacturing industry, preferably with process development experience.

• Very good project management skills.

• Good technical understanding and problem-solving skills.

As a person, you are structured and solution-oriented. You enjoy working both independently and in project teams and have the ability to engage and lead employees.

You will have many points of contact in this role, some of which are in other countries. Therefore, you need to be able to communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
