We are looking for a dedicated junior doctor for the Hematology Clinic at Danderyd Hospital.

Our job offer

At the Hematology Clinic, we assess and treat patients with specialized hematological needs. The majority of our patients have lymphoma, myeloma, or myeloid malignancies. Some benign hematology, such as hemolysis and ITP, is also managed by us. We also offer day care for treatments including monoclonal antibodies and chemotherapy.

We are 4 hematologists working in a team with 4 contact nurses. We hold weekly multidisciplinary conferences with hematopathologists and radiologists, as well as internal therapy conferences.

Job description

As a junior doctor at the hematology clinic, you will perform standard outpatient work such as referral assessments, new visits, follow-ups, bone marrow sampling, and treatment orders, all under the supervision of a specialist in hematology. You need to be confident in your role as a doctor, eager to learn, and stimulated by working with seriously ill patients. You will also have a lot of contact with patients and relatives as well as with other healthcare providers such as radiology, pathology, and other specialists. At Danderyd Hospital, we use the Take Care journal and chemotherapy is prescribed in Cytodos.

Qualifications

Licensed doctor, possibly a graduate doctor, with experience in internal medicine or another relevant specialty. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment form

Full-time, temporary position, starting 2025-06-01 or by agreement until 2025-12-31. Possibility for part-time can be discussed. Level placement according to competence.
