With us, nursing assistants and nurses work together, and the operational area is also led by nurses. We provide care in several different areas such as internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, geriatrics, and palliative care. We are a total of 360 people distributed across nine wards and ASIH, currently having 173 care places.

Nurse for the geriatric rehabilitation ward at Södertälje Hospital:

Ward 20 is a geriatric rehabilitation ward where we work in multiprofessional teams consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and doctors. Here you will have a varied and developing job as a nurse in a good working environment. You will join a stable and inclusive team where you will have the opportunity for collegial support from experienced colleagues.

As a nurse, you will lead the care of the patients. You will have a particular focus on the patient's condition, planning, and treatment. You are expected to have a person-centered approach and assume that each patient has unique needs and conditions, where the patient's relatives are also an important asset. Influence, participation, and job satisfaction are key words for your daily work, and we see patient safety, collaboration, and communication as important parts.

We care about your well-being and development at work! To achieve this, we have regular training and check-ins on the ward. Here we reflect together to exchange professional experiences. We work with continuous professional development that goes hand in hand with your personal development plan, and we apply Region Stockholm's competence ladders for nurses in clinical care. A strong focus is placed on nurses as leaders in daily work and co-leadership.

Your qualifications:

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.

Meritorious:

• Work experience from geriatric inpatient care.
• Specialist training in elderly care.

Employment form:

Permanent employment, full-time night shift. Start date as soon as possible.

As a nurse within a 24/7 operation, a working time agreement is applied with the possibility of a retention bonus (in time) and shortened weekly working hours for night work. If you work concentrated weekends and more scheduled nights, you also have the opportunity for additional earned time that can be taken out in time off, money, or pension savings.
