Senior IT Project Manager – iGaming

Are you a Senior IT Project Manager with over 10 years of experience leading complex IT and regulatory projects within the iGaming industry? Purpose of the Role:We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our team and lead the delivery of iGaming projects in Africa. You will ensure successful communication and implementation of regulatory and IT initiatives, manage multiple teams, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. Your expertise in product ownership, marketing, and cross-functional collaboration will be crucial to driving project success.

Main Responsibilities:• Lead and oversee the delivery of complex iGaming projects in the African markets, ensuring they align with regulatory requirements, timelines, and business objectives.

• Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery.

• Collaborate closely with Senior Product Managers, Product Owners, developers, operations engineers, marketing teams, and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve project issues, obstacles, and dependencies.

• Manage project plans, scope, risk registers, and status reports to ensure smooth project execution.

• Coordinate with regional stakeholders to ensure projects are tailored to the specific needs of the African market and in line with industry standards.

• Communicate project progress, issues, and milestones effectively to senior management and stakeholders at all levels.

• Protect and manage the defined project scope and ensure it aligns with business goals and customer needs.

• Mentor and support junior project managers to build a high-performing project management team.

• Contribute to the strategic direction of the company and play a key role in shaping product and marketing initiatives.

Technical Skills and Experience:• 10+ years of experience as a Senior IT Project Manager with a proven track record in the iGaming industry.

• PMP Certified

• Extensive experience managing projects for African markets, with an understanding of local regulatory environments and business needs.

• Strong background in product ownership and marketing, with the ability to bridge technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Experience managing multiple high-profile projects simultaneously with tight deadlines within the iGaming space.

• Excellent understanding of SDLC methodologies and experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management approaches.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams and regions.

• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a focus on delivering results and overcoming challenges.

• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior project managers and foster a collaborative team culture.

• Fluency in English and Afrikaans, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
