Preschool Teacher at Myran

We now have the opportunity to expand with an additional preschool teacher position at Myran!

Myran is a specialized preschool department aimed at children in need of special support - we are now looking for someone who truly WANTS to work with these children, in a department that is a bit different from other preschool departments!

What can we offer you?

The teaching is planned based on the curriculum, focusing on the children's previous experiences and interests.

We emphasize challenging the children further and guiding them towards new knowledge and skills.

Each child receives an individualized action plan based on the curriculum and is offered both individualized activities and group activities.

As an educator at Myran, you start from the children's interests and strengths and utilize their resources and abilities. You maintain a low-arousal approach, emphasize positive reinforcement, and set reasonable expectations. Together, the team works with the child's best interests in focus by developing and driving the educational activities based on the curriculum. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for documentation, follow-up, evaluation, and analysis of how the goals in the curriculum integrate with each other and form a whole (SKA).

What are we looking for in you?

You are a qualified preschool teacher with previous experience or a strong interest in working with preschool-aged children in need of special support.

We prefer that you are trained/continuously educated in the area of children with special needs, NPF, etc. You must have experience and/or education in AAC (alternative augmentative communication).

To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible and adapt your work to the rapid changes that occur in everyday life. You should be able to work independently with individual children but also have good collaborative skills.

We will place great importance on personal suitability.

If you are offered a position, you must present a current extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record for work within schools or preschools in Sweden (RPS 442.5 2008-06-18/1).

The position may potentially be filled internally if a surplus of competence is identified within the organization, and this recruitment will then be discontinued.
