The F 16 Wing Staff delivers guidance, support, and preparation of the highest quality through professional, service-oriented, and competent personnel. Within the wing staff, there is the HR and personnel department, A1. The department is led by a personnel manager and is responsible for supporting the unit's leaders in various types of personnel matters such as negotiations, long-term personnel planning, salary formation, recruitment, war planning, life and career development, training, work environment, rehabilitation, and veteran support. The department consists of 12 employees and is part of the war unit 16. Air Wing.
In the wing management, there is also an HR manager, who, in close collaboration with the personnel manager, supervises all HR generalists and work environment specialists within the HR area.

Main Responsibilities
As an HR generalist, you will combine operational and strategic tasks with a focus on the needs of the organization. You will support the wing's leaders consultatively and administratively with issues covering the entire HR area, such as work environment, rehabilitation, competence supply, cooperation/negotiation, labor law issues, and salary formation. Other tasks such as participation in the war unit's exercise activities may also occur.
Qualifications
- A degree at the university level in personnel/HR or equivalent education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Several years of relevant experience working consultatively with managers in HR.
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel.
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
You feel confident in the role of employer representative and in training and coaching managers on related issues with a professional and solution-focused approach.

As a person, you are proactive and have a good ability to independently plan, prioritize, and organize your work and to drive matters from start to finish. You have good communication and collaboration skills and the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships.

Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working with HR in the public sector, preferably in government operations.

Start date: By agreement.
Employment form: Two positions; one permanent employment, which can start with a 6-month probationary period, and one temporary position for 1 year.

Uppland Air Wing, F 16, is headquartered at Uppsala Garrison. The unit is part of the Swedish Air Force and is responsible for the operation and surveillance of Uppsala Airport as well as training conscripts in several different positions in the Air Force. The unit also leads the 161st Combat Control and Air Surveillance Battalion, which directs combat aircraft in the air and manages the constant surveillance of Swedish airspace. The unit operates from several locations across the country and is an important part of the growth period that the Air Force is facing.
