Job Description

This assignment is a collaboration between AFRY and our successful client in the truck and heavy vehicle sector in Södertälje. Our client is undergoing several exciting changes and challenges and is now looking for a driven and technology-interested production preparer.

As a preparer, you will play a central role in ensuring smooth product introductions and product improvements in production. You will work closely with production engineers, both on-site in Södertälje and in an international environment. In the role of preparer, you will act as the link between production and design.

Your main tasks will be to ensure the quality of the department's processes. This is done by archiving, storing, and optimizing tool details, among other things. You will work on continuous improvements and ensure that improvements are implemented according to the company's routines. CAD modeling is a natural part of the job.

The team consists of a group of engaged and cheerful colleagues where you will have good opportunities for development.

Qualifications

You are a relatively recent graduate with a degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on production and experience in machining. As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and enjoy order and tidiness.

As a preparer in the department, both project management skills and general technical competence are required. You thrive on having many points of contact and enjoy collaborating broadly to ensure the best possible results.

You find it easy to read and understand drawings and are proficient in at least one CAD program, preferably CATIA. You also have good IT skills and do not mind working in complex IT systems.

Diving into technical issues is something that drives you. You are proactive and willing to ask questions or seek answers independently when issues arise.
