As a Commissioning Engineer with our client, your responsibilities will include

  • Ensuring the completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

  • Contributing to the planning and implementation of commissioning activities.

  • Supporting and coordinating installation activities with the Installation Supervisor / Site Manager.

  • Implementing commissioning design changes and providing mark-ups for as-built project documentation.

  • Supporting continuous improvement of project processes, product, and system design.

  • Participating in internal project review meetings and providing input on commissioning activities.

  • Conducting tests, selecting and adapting equipment and procedures as needed.

  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment, applying knowledge and experience to resolve complex technical issues.

  • Recording, compiling, and analyzing data to optimize commissioning operations.

Requirements for the job

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience or a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.

  • Experience in commissioning work in plants of different sizes, complexities, and technologies.

  • Ability to work according to relevant legislation and standards while maintaining a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.

  • Knowledge of MACH systems is a merit.

  • Previous experience in HVDC, FACTS, or AC high-voltage stations is preferred.

  • Strong ability to maintain good relationships with internal and external suppliers.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Please note that for this role, a Swedish citizenship, European passport, or Permanent Residency is required due to the nature of the position, which involves occasional travel to various sites. This requirement is necessary for compliance with local regulations and security protocols.

Location: Ludvika, when you are not commissioning.

Employment type: You will work as a consultant for 12 months with the ambition to be employed directly by the client thereafter.
