The Role of Hearing Educator

As a hearing educator, you are responsible for the professional pedagogical competence within the team and for the pedagogical perspective in rehabilitation efforts. You plan and implement work both individually and in groups for people with hearing impairments and tinnitus. Currently, there is a focus on implementing the new care pathway for people with severe hearing impairment.

The team consists of hearing educators, audiologists, and social workers. Your tasks will be distributed based on your experience and competence. The position includes collaboration with various stakeholders, both internal and external.

The habilitation work is characterized by a holistic view and is based on a multidisciplinary approach. The operations are structured in teams consisting of different professional roles.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is an audiologist, hearing educator, or has another education deemed equivalent by the employer. We prefer that you have experience working with people with hearing impairments and knowledge of sign language.

You need to have a good understanding of people's different conditions and the ability to independently and collaboratively carry out various tasks. Since you will meet people in different situations in your work, it is important that you have clear and direct communication, but also are a good listener.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

As travel is required in the position, a driver's license is a requirement.
