The authority's operations are growing, and we need to strengthen our external web work with a driven, experienced, and engaged web communicator. The position is a fixed-term employment until December 31, 2025.
The Swedish Energy Agency leads society's transition to a sustainable energy system where ecological sustainability, competitiveness, and energy security go hand in hand. The goal is stable and cost-effective energy with low impact on health, environment, and climate.
Your tasks – active web work
In the role of web communicator, you will work with communication efforts of varying complexity related to our external website. The work includes updating existing pages, building new structures, accessibility adjustments, proofreading, and web optimization of texts. The tasks offer a breadth within the web area, and you will collaborate with other communicators in the secretariat as well as colleagues within the authority.
Qualifications
Required
- University education in media and communication or equivalent education that we assess as relevant
- Current work experience in the communication field where you have gained relevant knowledge and experience as a web communicator in the last five years
- You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English (spoken and written)
- Experience working with CMS tools such as Optimizely/EPI, Sitevision, or similar
- Very good computer skills
Meritorious
- Experience in basic graphic design, photography, and illustration.
Personal qualities
The position as a web communicator with us requires that you are structured, have an easy time collaborating, and are solution-focused. As a person, you have a good ability to create trust and good relationships.
About the Communication Secretariat
The position is located in the Communication Secretariat. You will be part of a working group with web communicators and a smaller team of communicators working within the same subject area. At the Communication Secretariat, we are 25 employees responsible for press/media issues, planned communication, internal communication, external and internal web, social channels, graphic profile, and library services, among others.

The position is located in our beautiful offices in central Eskilstuna with good commuting opportunities to Stockholm, Västerås, and other nearby cities. Good to know
The position is a fixed-term employment, at most until December 31, 2025, with a start date according to agreement. Positions within the Swedish Energy Agency may be placed in a security class, which means security clearance and background checks according to the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
