Infrastructure Officer in Real Estate
Do you enjoy setting requirements and ensuring quality in real estate functions? The Swedish Armed Forces (FM) and LplE are growing, and we are now looking for someone to work as an infrastructure officer focusing on existing properties, adaptations, and maintenance planning within our region. Do you want to help develop the infrastructure of the Swedish Armed Forces? Welcome with your application!
About the Unit
The Local Planning Units (LplE) are part of the Swedish Armed Forces' (FM) local supply competence and represent FM as a client towards the supporting authorities, the Fortifications Agency (FORTV) and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). The Local Planning Unit Mitt consists of about 35 employees and has a geographical responsibility that includes Stockholm, Gävleborg, Södermanland, Uppsala, Västmanland, Dalarna, and Gotland counties. The unit's task is to support the organizational units in the garrisons; Arboga, Haninge, Enköping, Gotland, Kungsängen, Stockholm/Solna, Uppsala, Vällinge, and Falun with the Swedish Armed Forces' infrastructure. LplE is responsible for garrison planning, new/reconstruction (procurement), management (maintenance), and the decommissioning of land and premises. LplE also supports the headquarters with materials for planning and operational assignments and the development of governing documents.
Main Responsibilities
The infrastructure officer is responsible for the entire maintenance/management process; from annually reviewing maintenance plans in dialogue with the property owner, reviewing lease agreements, and being a support to the garrison regarding projects and orders related to the properties. The role also includes maintaining contacts with various units within the Swedish Armed Forces and relevant authorities. You will work independently with significant responsibility. Initially, you will be the sole officer on-site for LplE Mitt to support the garrison in Falun, with whom you will have close daily contact. In the unit, you will be part of a working group consisting of other infrastructure officers, project managers, and managers with whom you will have continuous dialogue. In your role as an infrastructure officer, your sense of collaboration, results, quality, structure, prioritization, and good documentation skills will be well utilized.
Qualifications

- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Swedish citizenship.
- Driver's license B (manual transmission).
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is a humble and pronounced team player who shares their expertise but also welcomes others' opinions and experiences. You enjoy working independently, variably, and with significant responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously. You are skilled at working in a structured manner, prioritizing, and taking initiatives. You thrive in a work environment where clear processes and goals are followed, while also being solution-oriented and creative when needed. You adapt easily to changing tempos and are persistent and reliable in your deliveries. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
