We are currently seeking someone to work as a Spanish and English teacher.

The position is divided into 50% teaching Spanish (permanent employment) and 50% teaching English (temporary position with a possibility of extension as our regular English teacher is on study leave).

Adolf Fredrik's music classes are a 4-9 school with about 1100 students located in Norrmalm. The profile is choir singing, and our students are not only musical but also engaged, ambitious, and have good results.

Your role

You will teach Spanish and English at the secondary level.

You will be part of a work team and a subject team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of the collegial learning to create new and deepened knowledge. You will be a mentor in a class at the secondary level together with two other colleagues.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who has high expectations for students' achievement, good pedagogical insight, and is clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You who apply:

• are a certified teacher with qualifications in Spanish and English for secondary education, or studying to become one and are almost finished with your education.
• have experience working with teaching Spanish and English.
• have experience with digital methods as a reinforcement in teaching.
• are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs and structure and adapt your teaching to create a safe and adequate learning environment. You involve the student in planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.

You are confident, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and establish good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role effectively.
