Lundellska School is located in a stimulating beautiful environment next to the Ångström Laboratory. We offer the Economic Program, Natural Science Program, Social Science Program, Technology Program, Health and Care Program, IMA, and a resource unit. It is one of Uppsala's most successful high schools with a student composition that reflects Uppsala. We work with collegial learning where we visit each other in the classroom to learn from one another. We join forces around the students so that they can reach as far as possible based on their circumstances. Our vision is to be the best in learning. The way there involves good knowledge and good relationships and effective leadership in the classroom.
Your Mission
As a teacher, you will plan and implement teaching according to the curriculum. You will collaborate with other school staff to create a good working environment. You are expected to conduct an adapted educational activity based on both individual and group needs and conditions. The work includes mentorship, assessment, and grading.
Your Background
We are looking for someone who has a Swedish teaching license with subject qualifications at the high school level. We see that you are qualified to teach in one of the following subjects: Swedish, English, Italian, German, Social Studies, History, Geography, Religion, and Philosophy. Experience working as a high school teacher is considered an advantage. The job requires you to have a good understanding of the high school’s governing documents and curriculum.
As a person, you are pedagogical and have an understanding of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge. You are good at creating, maintaining, and developing professional relationships. The job suits you if you have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner.
