We are a moderately sized and pleasant workplace with two teams in child and youth rehabilitation and one team in adult rehabilitation. Welcome to the Rehabilitation Center in Värnamo!

The role of physiotherapist

You will work on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions based on needs, primarily focusing on gross motor function, positioning, mobility, and pain. You provide interventions to help the patient maintain, develop, and/or compensate for physical disabilities. You will provide interventions in the patient's various environments such as at home, in daily activities/school, or at the rehabilitation center.

Your tasks will include:

• Assessment of assistive device needs, prescription, and follow-up. This includes both movement technical/medical technical aids and orthopedic products.
• Assessments of functional ability.
• Preventive and therapeutic interventions.
• Advice and guidance to the patient and the patient's network.
• Follow-up according to national quality registers such as MMCUP and CPUP.
• Information and advice to the patient and the patient's network.
• Collaboration with colleagues in other operations in the region and surrounding municipalities.

The Rehabilitation Center works with people with disabilities. We cater to individuals who have:

• Intellectual disabilities.
• Permanent motor disabilities that are congenital or acquired during childhood, such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, or muscular dystrophy.
• Neuropsychiatric disabilities in combination with intellectual disabilities.
• Acquired brain injury with lasting cognitive impairment equivalent to intellectual disabilities.

Your profile

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist, preferably with experience working with the target groups of rehabilitation centers.

For us and our patients, it is important that you enjoy collaborating with various professional groups and operations. You take responsibility for your tasks, are flexible in your work, but plan and organize your work effectively. You need to have good pedagogical skills to understand how different people with varying conditions comprehend and absorb knowledge. Personal suitability is highly valued.

As travel is included in the position, a B driver's license is required.

The position is a fixed-term employment from 2025-08-11 to 2026-06-30, or start by agreement.
