Liljeforsskolan is a K-5 school with about 320 students and 50 staff members. The school is located in the residential area of Gränby and is surrounded by beautiful playgrounds and parks. The school is characterized by multilingualism and diversity. More than 30 different languages are spoken among the students at the school.

As a teacher in wood and metal crafts, you will teach students from grades 3-5. The teaching takes place in small groups at Gränbyskolan, which is located right next to Liljeforsskolan. You will collaborate with experienced and skilled craft teachers at both Gränbyskolan and Liljeforsskolan. In addition to teaching crafts, you will also teach one or more of the school's other subjects in one or more grade levels.

Your Mission

As a teacher in this position, you will teach wood and metal crafts. You will also teach one or more of the school's other subjects. You will have the opportunity to make a difference for our students by contributing your skills, knowledge, and commitment to ensuring that the school achieves its goals with the student at the center. You will plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the educational work according to the curriculum and other governing documents. You will do this together with experienced and skilled colleagues.

We strive for collegial learning where you, in close collaboration with your colleagues, develop the operations. Together, you work to ensure that all students thrive and develop based on their individual circumstances.

You will participate in the school's professional development and in the teacher networks relevant to the subjects you teach.

Your Background

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license or is awaiting a license with the qualification to teach wood and metal crafts in grades 3-5. You should have experience teaching in elementary school in grades 1-5 and a good understanding of the school's governing documents and the Swedish curriculum. Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF) and experience working in a multilingual context is an advantage. Good oral and written skills in Swedish are required.

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience with language-developing methods
• experience with students with NPF
• IT skills related to educational work.

Furthermore, you take initiative and start activities to achieve results. Additionally, you have a good pedagogical ability and understanding of students' different conditions for acquiring knowledge.
