About the role

We are now looking for a mechanical technician at Svenska Industriborstar (SIB Products). In this role, you will be an important part of production, where you will work with a variety of tasks, such as welding, screwing, turning, and operating different machines. At the beginning of your employment, you will learn the machines and work alongside an experienced colleague. This gives you the opportunity to develop and take a central role in production.

The work is very varied, which means you will jump in where needed to ensure that production runs efficiently. In the long run, you will work more focused on manufacturing brush shafts and brushes as well as operating brush machines.

We are looking for someone who is practical and handy, with a strong desire to learn new technical skills. You thrive in a flexible and varied environment where tasks can shift depending on what is needed at the moment. To enjoy this role, it is important that you are solution-oriented and not afraid to take initiative. We also appreciate that you have a genuine interest in developing within production and mechanical engineering.

Requirements:

• Swedish spoken and written
• Experience in production/industry work
• Swedish citizenship (due to security classification)

Meritorious:

• Experience in screwing, milling, and similar tasks
• Education in welding and turning
• Forklift license and overhead crane training
• Ability to read drawings

Working hours: Shift work (2 shifts): First week: 06:30-15:30. Second week: 14:00-23:00
