You will belong to our Sustainable Buildings unit

As our new Energy Consultant, you will be part of our Sustainable Buildings unit. Currently, we are about 20 people with different areas of expertise, distributed across four geographical teams. We are located in offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Uppsala, and Luleå. Our assignments mainly consist of environmental coordination and environmental certification in e.g., Miljöbyggnad, LEED, and BREEAM; advanced simulations of e.g., energy, indoor climate, and daylight, as well as energy services such as energy declarations and surveys. In our unit, we value a good working climate and unpretentious collaboration. Within the unit, and within our national and international network at Ramboll, there is a collective experience of sustainability issues in construction projects that offers an unparalleled environment for development.

Your main tasks:

• Energy coordination and efficiency in existing buildings and in new construction
• Conduct energy surveys and energy declarations
• Energy management, strategic development of our clients' energy work
• Due diligence prior to property transactions related to buildings' energy and climate performance
• Active participation in developing Ramboll's working methods and market
• Active participation in Ramboll's network for energy experts
• Other tasks depending on your previous experiences – e.g., measurement/testing, simulations, solar energy investigations, certification

Develop together with us

• An engineering or vocational education in a relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience working with energy issues in buildings
• Good ability to collaborate and express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English
• Business acumen and a natural ability to build trustworthy relationships with clients as well as colleagues
• Be a team player
• Be meticulous and have a structured and systematic approach to work

It is meritorious if you hold a certification as either an Energy Expert or Energy Surveyor, can perform building simulations in IDA ICE or Rhino/Grasshopper, e.g., thermal climate, daylight, and energy, and/or have experience in conducting CRREM analyses.
