We are looking for a certified primary school teacher with qualifications to teach home economics. You should have experience working in primary schools and an interest in developing the learning environment for the school's students.

In your role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving the teaching of home economics. The teaching is designed based on the curriculum goals where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are essential cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations for the students and adapt the teaching according to all students' levels, your assessment of the individual student, and with a focus on the student's best interests. You work for an accessible school environment where alternative learning tools and documentation are a natural part of your work.

With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and collaboration, stimulating students to learn and take responsibility. You have good leadership both inside and outside the classroom. You easily build relationships and are comfortable collaborating with students, guardians, and school staff.

As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well acquainted with and adhere to the ethical principles for teachers, as well as having the ability to analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge. In a systematic way, you reflect on the practical work, and together with colleagues, you drive development work and take joint responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development. You will be part of one of the school's working teams for collaboration and support.

As the school is based on a Christian value foundation, we prefer that you have a Christian faith and share the school's values.

The job responsibilities include teaching home economics for students in grades 6, 8, and 9. The work may also involve being a mentor for a class together with a colleague.
