Operations Manager Wanted at Ohlssons in Hässleholm

Ohlssons continues to grow and we are now establishing ourselves in Hässleholm, where from November 1, 2025, we have been entrusted with managing the municipality's collection of household waste from villas, apartment buildings, and businesses. To ensure the success of this assignment, we are now looking for an operations manager responsible for our environmental workers/drivers and the daily operations of the business.

The company assists municipalities and businesses with services in recycling, transport, service, contracting, as well as water and sewage. The group also includes Puls – Planned Maintenance Service AB, Soreto Services AB, Exellent Syd AB, ÖMAB, and Tintorella Fastigheter AB.

About the Role

As an operations manager, you play a key role in leading and developing the operations within the department. You are responsible for organizing and ensuring an efficient operation with high quality, managing everything from personnel management and operational planning to resource management and customer contacts. We are looking for someone who acts agilely with both small and large issues.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Personnel responsibility, including recruitment, follow-up, and work environment.
• Budgeting and financial follow-up.
• Operational planning and resource optimization.
• Quality control and vehicle monitoring.
• Active work with customer relationships.
• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least a high school education
• Has several years of work experience in operations management, preferably within waste management or transport.
• Has experience in personnel management
• Has experience in follow-up and analysis of results.
• Has a B driver's license (C driver's license is a plus).
