We are now looking for a new shift leader to join us at Jureskogs in Nyköping. The position is part-time at 30 hours/week. We are looking for someone who loves burgers as much as we do! You are a cheerful and positive person who enjoys working and meeting people from all corners of the world. You take initiative, are open to change, and have no problem working varied hours. Having a good ability to work in a team and seeing challenges instead of problems is a given for us.

As a shift leader, you are responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. You ensure that the restaurant is ready for opening, during the day you make sure that everything is available and that everyone knows what to do, and at closing, you ensure that it is in the condition you want to meet in the morning, i.e., clean and stocked. You actively work to ensure that production runs smoothly and that guests leave with a smile on their faces.

Your tasks will also vary!

• Have close cooperation with the restaurant manager
• Lead and distribute work in the kitchen and restaurant when the restaurant manager is not present
• Be responsible for food quality and cleanliness in the restaurant
• Be flexible in your work and vary your workstations both at the cash register and in the kitchen
• Develop staff through joy, patience, and constructive feedback
• Work when the restaurant needs it most, the position includes daytime, evening, and weekend shifts

We love fast food, especially burgers. We naively believe that almost everyone does. It’s simple, delicious, and fun! But standing in the way of this obviousness is a widespread belief that fast food equals junk food. And in many cases, that is true. We want to change that! Why should simple mean bad? Bad for you, for the environment, and for animals? That’s completely backward! What we love most should also be the best, and there should be goodness in good food. That permeates everything we do at Jureskogs, from the choice of suppliers, personnel policy, product development, and general etiquette.
