Kungälv Hospital is looking for medical students who want to work in patient-facing roles during the summer of 2025. About the Job

Working as a medical student in patient-facing roles means being involved in planning, decision-making, and execution of care measures throughout the patient's hospital stay on the ward.

Examples of tasks include, with variation based on the needs of each department:

• Conversations and care of patients, such as arrival conversations and care status
• Care planning and documentation of care work
• Participate in preparing, administering, and giving medications
• Sampling, PVK control, and inserting PVK and catheter
• Participate in rounds
• Contact with relatives
• Nursing discharge summary

Qualifications

You are a medical student who, by the summer of 2025, has completed at least semester 9. Previous experience working as a nursing assistant or caregiver is an advantage.

As a person, you are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You find it easy to be flexible and work in an environment with a lot of varied tasks at a fast pace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

This position involves working days and evenings as well as weekends throughout the summer.
