Engaged Care Assistants Wanted for Solhaga

We are now looking for engaged care assistants for an exciting assignment that involves helping to shape the future of Solhaga!

Solhaga is a care and nursing home located in Kode, about 10 minutes from central Kungälv.

The facility consists of approximately 70 apartments distributed across different departments for dementia and somatic care. We are currently seeking staff for our dementia department.

The operation aims to support the elderly in experiencing well-being according to the national values of elderly care.

Job Responsibilities

Working based on the national values of elderly care means that the care and support are based on the elderly's self-determination. The elderly should feel secure, have a sense of meaning, and experience connection. We will work with respect for the elderly's privacy and personal integrity and tailor care and support according to individual needs. The focus is on good interaction and ensuring that the services provided are of high quality.

Together with your colleagues, you will be a key person in the network around the residents. As a care assistant, you will motivate and stimulate the users based on their individual circumstances, needs, and wishes, which means that the tasks will vary. You will be exposed to many people's life situations, which can be both interesting and developing. In the work group, you will also collaborate with other professionals. In addition to providing care and support, your tasks will include service tasks and documentation. Health and medical interventions are delegated by a nurse.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a care assistant and interested in working in a care and nursing home. It is an advantage if you have further education in dementia care or previous experience working with dementia care. You should be interested in working with development and change, have good collaboration skills, initiative, and be able to work independently.

It is important that you are interested in people, have a strong commitment, see opportunities, have a sense of responsibility, and focus on the individual needs of the users.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills are required.

A driving license (B) is an advantage but not a requirement; however, you should be able to commute to and from work during evenings and weekends when public transport is less frequent. It is within walking distance from Solhaga to Västtågen.
