Technical Tester at Skandia IT in Stockholm

Working as a Technical Tester

In the role of a technical tester, you are a key player in ensuring the quality of our systems and applications for our concept, account, and card services. The work includes activities such as test data management, mocking, test automation, and logging to create effective testing solutions for the applications and flows the team works with.

The team you will join is responsible for the bank's concepts, such as Skandia Vardagspaket and Skandia Ung, as well as the products card and account.

We offer a hybrid work solution which means three days a week in the office and two flexible days.

We see that you have several years of experience in testing. Experience working with test automation frameworks, preferably Cypress or similar tools, is important for succeeding in this role. You have a good understanding of system development and enjoy working closely with the code. Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio, or Visual Studio Code is essential as you will work closely with the developers in the team. Additionally, you need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is a plus if you have any coding experience in C#, Typescript, or React.Js, as well as practical experience with build and deployment processes, preferably with Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy. Experience in the finance or insurance industry is also a plus.
