About the role

In this role, you will become an important part of our finance team consisting of you and three other colleagues in accounting, including one accounting economist and two accounting assistants, as well as a controller manager. You will work closely with and report to the CFO. There are great opportunities for career development for those who aspire to take on the role of finance manager or CFO in the future.

As a Group Accountant, you will have overall quality and coordination responsibility for the parent company and the subsidiaries of the group within accounting. Scandinavian Photo operates with companies in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. This means that you will be responsible for:

• Preparing financial statements (monthly and annual accounts) and producing the annual report,
• Preparing group consolidation,
• Conducting risk and performance analysis of the company's financial statements,
• Group taxes and fees,
• Process development and improvement of routines within accounting as well as development of system support,
• Supporting the group's companies and business areas in accounting matters,
• Ensuring that liquidity planning in the companies works well,
• Contact with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders,
• Ad hoc analyses for the CFO and the rest of the organization.

We would like you to have a university degree in finance/accounting and at least a few years of relevant work experience, preferably with a background in auditing and/or work at the group level in an owner-led company. Experience in Nordic operations and retail is an advantage. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of Swedish accounting and tax regulations, reporting, and an understanding of business systems. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, in spoken and written form.
